If you know your UARK (primary or secondary) account password and want to change it, you can do so at the Microsoft My Account site.
If your UARK account was accessed by someone else or you believe the security of your account has been breached, change your password immediately and create a security incident ticket by clicking the Report Security Incident request button on the right.
After your password has been changed, you will need to update it in your email apps and other university systems.
Note for employees: When you change your primary UARK account password, you must sign out of your campus desk phone and then sign back in.
Note: UARK account passwords can only be changed or reset by the account owner, which may not be the primary user of a secondary account, such as an RSO account., guest account, or third-party account.
- Go to account.uark.edu.
You will be prompted authenticate with your login.
- Click Change Password in the left navigation column.

- Type the new password in the New password field and again in the Confirm new password field. Click Submit.

If you are unable to update your password or access your account with your new password, contact the IT Help Desk.
