Request Workday Proxy Access
Use this service to request consideration for temporary Workday non-production proxy ("Proxy As") access. Proxy access is restricted elevated access and is not standard Workday access for troubleshooting, training, reporting, testing, or general support.
Important — Most Requests Will Not Be Approved
Proxy access is considered only when a documented business need cannot reasonably be met through a lower-risk alternative. Submission of a request is a request for consideration only and does not create or guarantee an exception or approval. Requests may be returned for additional information, redirected to another supported solution, approved with restrictions, or denied.
Before You Submit
Before requesting proxy access, consider whether the business need can be met through a lower-risk option such as screen sharing, working with an appropriately secured user or subject matter expert, screenshots, security or report analysis, or controlled testing.
Approved User Acceptance Testing (UAT) has a limited established use for proxy access when proxy is necessary to execute defined test scenarios. Other requests are expected to be rare and require additional review.

What Happens Next?
- Workday Security reviews the business need and requested scope.
- Additional information or functional/security review may be required.
- Lower-risk alternatives may be recommended instead of proxy access.
- If proxy access is approved, the approved scope and duration may be more limited than requested.
