Body

Wireless phone handsets are not available for the current VoIP system. To replace this functionality, IT Services can help departments configure a university-owned cellphone for making and receiving VoIP phone calls.

  1. Order a cellphone from the university. It is not necessary to select a data/voice plan since the device will be used with UARK Wi-Fi only.
  2. A dedicated UARK account is required for managing device settings in Microsoft Teams. Request this account using the Request account button on the right.
  3. Once the cellphone has been provided and the dedicated account has been created, click the Request new VoIP service button on the right to contact the VoIP team to complete the configuration.
