Overview
The UARK Help Portal provides a simple way to report issues and request services. All campus account holders can create tickets that are routed to the IT Services Help Desk. Use this tool when something is not working correctly or when you need support, such as access to software or setting up new accounts.
Key Features
- Create two types of tickets: Incident (Request Help) and Service Request (Request Service).
- Track and manage your tickets through the UARK Help Portal.
- Automatically routes tickets to the IT Services Help Desk for resolution.
Tip: If you know which department your request should go to, include this information in the ticket description for faster routing.
Access
You can access the UARK Help Portal in any web browser using your @uark.edu account. Be sure to sign-in to gain full access to resources.
Web App (Desktop)
- Go to UARK Help Portal. (help.uark.edu)
- Select either Request Help or Request Service from the homepage.
- If prompted, sign in with your @uark.edu credentials.
Creating a Ticket
- From the UARK Help Portal, click the Request Help (incident) or Request Service (service request) button.
- If not already signed in, log in with your @uark.edu account.
- Fill out the ticket form with as much detail as possible. Note: If you know who the ticket should be routed to, add this in the description.
- Submit the form. Your ticket will be routed to the IT Help Desk.
- You can manage and track your requests by going to Services > Ticket Requests in the portal.
