Using Microsoft 365 (Office) Apps

Microsoft 365 is a full suite of productivity and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Office apps like Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. It also includes OneDrive, SharePoint, Planner and more.

Microsoft 365 apps are available to faculty, staff, and students. Online versions of the apps as well as downloads for installation are available.

Visio and Project are not included with Office 365 and must be requested. Request Visio or MS Project

Accessing Microsoft 365 Apps

Log into the Microsoft 365 Portal with your @uark.edu email and password and use Office apps online through your web browser.

Install Microsoft Office apps on Windows or Mac computers up to 5 devices at a time. Click Install Office to install all the available apps.

Uninstall Previous Versions

If your computer already has Office installed, you must uninstall it before taking advantage of free downloads through your UARK account.

Office for Computer Labs

Serial licenses are available through the Microsoft Campus Agreement for university-owned computers not tied to individuals, for example, computer lab workstations.

Install Office 365 Apps on Mobile Devices

Install and set up Office 365 apps on your iPhone, iPad, Android or Windows mobile devices. When prompted to log in, enter your full @uark.edu email address and your UARK password.
