TeamDynamix: (TDNext) How to Add Group Members to TeamDynamix Groups

Overview

Audience:  Managers of TeamDynamix groups

Directions for adding members to a TeamDynamix group.

Before you start

Must be set as the "Manager" of a TeamDynamix group in order to edit group membership. NOTE: This does not change the member's TeamDynamix access. Only the TeamDynamix administrators can add/remove TeamDynamix access.

Steps

1. Sign into TDNext (Users Portal) of TeamDynamix
2. Open the People applications (View Applications > People )
3. Select Groups from the left panel
4. In the Search field type in the group name and select the Search button
5. Select the Name link of the group name. This opens up the Group Details page.
6. Select  +Add Group Members button towards the top. NOTE: If you do not see this button, it is because you are not set as a Manager for this group. Contact the TeamDynamix Administrator for assistance. Alternatively, you may contact who is listed as a Manager of the group to edit group membership.
7. In the Select People field, type in the name or email of the person you want to add. When it populates, click their name. This will add them to the Select People field and you can add more than one at a time.
8. Check which group member features you want to the new members:
   • (default checked) Check Included in Notifications for the new group members to receive all email notifications where the group is Responsible
   • Check Manager(s) if you want the new member(s) to have group membership editing privileges
   • Check Make Primary if the new member will have this group as their Primary Responsible Group
9. Select Save
   

What's next

Once saved, the group membership will automatically update. The new members will not receive a notification of the group membership addition. If the Included in Notifications was checked, then they will start receive notifications for the tickets assigned to this group.
