Repairs Under Warranty
Get your device repaired at little or no cost for issues covered under warranty. Base warranty covers component failure not related to an accident. To see what type of warranty coverage you have on your technology find your service tag or serial number and Check Dell Warranty Status or Check Apple Warranty Status.
- Dell devices purchased from the Tech Store or through the UA System contract are immediately eligible for repair, if the technology was purchased elsewhere you may need to complete a warranty ownership transfer request.
- Personally owned and institutionally owned units are eligible for repair.
- Apple devices MB Air, MB Pro, iMac, and Studio units currently under warranty.
- Only institutionally owned Apple technology can be repaired under warranty at the STC.
Non-Warranty Repairs
Is your device out of warranty? No problem! In some cases we can repair devices that are up to seven years old.
- Basic Services $49: Diagnose and fix issues that do not require major disassembly.
- Data Backup & Recovery $20-$99: Backup, recover or transfer to new system or external hard drive up to 500GB.
- Virus Removal $79: Remove virus and/or malware and reinstall operating system.
- Advanced Services $99: Diagnose and fix issues that require major disassembly.
