Microsoft Planner and Project is project management software.
Microsoft Project is not included with Office 365 and must be requested using the Request Microsoft Desktop Software request button on the right.

Student licensing (Teaching the Desktop version)
Microsoft offers a free license for students, but a paid license is needed if they require the desktop application. The choice depends on whether the desktop client is needed for instruction.
Project Plan 5 without Project Client for Students
This license includes the full features, but has no desktop client installation, so only online access is available.

If you are faculty and your instruction focuses on the Projects desktop client, both you and your students will require the licenses that enable this installation:

- Students: The paid license option for desktop instruction ($91.10 annually per student)
