Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication method that allows users to sign in using one set of credentials to multiple independent software systems.
Using SSO helps prevent phishing attacks, protects UARK account information and safeguards user identities. Azure AD is the preferred method for web SSO at the University of Arkansas, but Shibboleth is also supported.

UARK Central Login (Shibboleth)
UARK Central Login (Shibboleth) is the legacy Single sign-on system used to access some services on the university's web presence.
Logging Out
You will remain logged in until you close (Windows) or quit (Mac) your web browser. Logging out of page or application does not completely log you out of all UARK Central Login pages or applications.
Bookmarks and URLs
Applications that use UARK Central Login for authentication will initially send users to a login screen with "idp" in the web address. Create a bookmark after being returned to the application. Do not bookmark the login page.
Supported Non-UARK Applications
As part of the university's membership in the InCommon Federation, operated by Internet2, UARK users can access applications at other member institutions using a UARK username and password.
