All Business Process Management roles report directly to the Senior Director, who is responsible for overall strategy, governance, prioritization, and delivery of process innovation initiatives. This structure ensures clear accountability, streamlined decision-making, and alignment between operational execution and institutional leadership priorities.

Process Innovation (HCM & Finance): Business Process Management Roles

Role Responsibilities  
Senior Director, Process Innovation (HCM & Finance): Business Process Management Provides strategic leadership for enterprise business process management and innovation across HCM and Finance. Oversees the full BPM lifecycle including intake, discovery, prioritization, design, testing, deployment, and stabilization. Establishes governance frameworks, drives prioritization, and ensures alignment with institutional strategy, policy, and system capabilities. Leads process innovation efforts through automation, reporting, and data-driven solutions while managing team performance, stakeholder alignment, and portfolio outcomes.  
Business Analyst Lead Leads complex process improvement initiatives across the full BPM lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, testing strategy, and implementation oversight. Establishes governance standards, ensures consistency in analysis and documentation, and provides strategic guidance to stakeholders. Oversees intake, prioritization, and issue management while mentoring analysts and driving process innovation through automation, reporting, and data-informed practices.  
Business Analyst Executes business process analysis and optimization activities including process mapping, requirements gathering, testing coordination, troubleshooting, and documentation. Partners with stakeholders and technical teams to improve workflows, ensure data integrity, and support governance standards. Contributes to intake, ticket management, and continuous improvement efforts while supporting ERP systems such as Workday.  
Business Analyst – UAT Lead Leads User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities across BPM initiatives by coordinating test planning, execution, and validation. Ensures alignment between business requirements and system functionality, manages defect tracking and resolution, and supports quality assurance prior to deployment. Partners with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions meet operational and functional expectations.  
Support Assistant (Work-Study / Hourly) – Ticket Management Supports intake, triage, and routing of BPM tickets through enterprise service management platforms such as TeamDynamix. Ensures requests are complete, properly categorized, and aligned with intake standards. Maintains documentation, updates knowledge base content, and supports communication with stakeholders. Assists with tracking requests, data entry, and process support activities while contributing to a consistent and efficient intake and support model.  
Support Assistant (Work-Study / Hourly) – Developer Supports development of automation, data workflows, and AI-driven solutions that enhance business process efficiency and insight. Assists with building, testing, and maintaining automations, preparing and validating data, and supporting reporting and analytics efforts. Contributes to process innovation by identifying opportunities for automation, documenting solutions, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives using modern tools and technologies.
