Log into AVD

Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) gives access to a remote lab that is available for all students, faculty, and staff allowing access to a virtual computer lab desktop from any location using any device. AVD allows you to launch apps or virtual desktops to have access to apps including MATLAB, Adobe Creative Cloud, Wolfram, SAS, SPSS, and more.

  1. Log into Azure Remote Lab Virtual Desktop using your UARK username and password.
  2. Click Connect under UARK Remote Lab Desktop.
  3. Authenticate to the Virtual Desktop.
  4. The virtual machine will automatically sync your OneDrive folder including your desktop, documents, and pictures.
  5. Open applications from the desktop, or enter the application you want to open in the Search bar to open.

AVD uses OneDrive to save files. Documents may take longer to load on first use of AVD.

Campuswide licensed software that is available to users to download on their own devices may not be available in AVD.
