IT Services facilitates the purchase and assignment of some frequently requested Microsoft desktop software.

IT Services does not provide support for the software beyond ensuring the appropriate license is purchased and provisioned.

Current Microsoft software titles, descriptions, and annual costs

  • Microsoft Visio Plan 1
    This license enables a user to use the online only version of Visio. Visio license is only required to create or modify Visio documents.
    $11.85/year per user
  • Microsoft Visio Plan 2
    This license is a Visio standard desktop license that can be installed on a local computer along with access to the online version of Visio.
    $26.20/year per user
  • Microsoft Project Plan 3 (Pro)
    This license enables the user to access the online version or install the thick client. The online only version requires additional setup by the SharePoint team since it is tied to SharePoint.
    $70.20/year per user
  • Microsoft Power BI Pro
    This license should be available to most of the campus community already via the Microsoft A5 license. Microsoft Power BI Premium provides additional capabilities beyond Power BI Pro.
    $55.13/year per user
  • Power Automate
    Per user plan for faculty is $8.30/month or $99.60/year.
  • Power Apps Premium
    Plan for faculty is $11/month or $132/annually.
