Current Microsoft software titles, descriptions, and annual costs

  • Microsoft Visio Plan 1
    This license enables a user to use the online only version of Visio. Visio license is only required to create or modify Visio documents.
    $11.85/year per user
  • Microsoft Visio Plan 2
    This license is a Visio standard desktop license that can be installed on a local computer along with access to the online version of Visio.
    $26.20/year per user
  • Microsoft Power BI Pro
    Power BI Pro is included with the Microsoft A5 Faculty license but is not included with the Microsoft A5 Student license. Power BI Pro is a per‑user license that enables sharing and collaboration within the online Power BI service. The desktop application used to create and develop reports, Power BI Desktop, is free to download and use by anyone, regardless of license.
  • Microsoft Power BI Premium
    Microsoft Power BI Premium provides additional capabilities beyond Power BI Pro and is required only for large‑scale or enterprise reporting scenarios, such as sharing reports broadly without requiring viewers to have a Pro license, supporting very large datasets, or ensuring dedicated performance. Most users and teams do not need Power BI Premium.$55.13/year per user

  • Microsoft Planner and Project Plan 3 for Faculty
    Staff and faculty use ONLY. Online access to all features of Planner and Projects; no desktop client install allowed. This license enables the user to access the online version

  • Microsoft Planner and Project Plan 5 for Faculty
    Staff and faculty use ONLY. License enables all the features of Planner online access and the use of the Projects Desktop client installation.

  • Microsoft Planner and Project Plan 3 for Students
    For Students ONLY. Online access to all features of Planner and Projects; no desktop client install allowed.
    $48/year per user but this can be done monthly
  • Microsoft Planner and Project Plan 5 for Students
    For Students ONLY. License enables all the features of Planner online access and the use of the Projects Desktop client installation.
