Microsoft Desktop Software Request Fulfillment
ITS facilitates the purchase and assignment of some frequently requested Microsoft desktop software. ITS does not provide support for the software beyond ensuring the appropriate license is purchased and provisioned.
The current Microsoft software titles, descriptions, and annual costs:
· Microsoft Visio Plan 1 license enables a user to use the online only version of Visio at a cost of $11.85/year per user. Visio license is only required to create or modify Visio documents.
· Microsoft Visio Plan 2 license is a Visio standard desktop license that can be installed on a local machine along with access to the online version of Visio at a cost of $26.20/year per user.
· Microsoft Project Plan 3 (pro) is available at a cost of $70.20/year per user which enables the user to access the online version or install the thick client. The online only version requires additional setup by the SharePoint team since it is tied to SharePoint.
· Microsoft Power BI Pro should be available to most of the campus community already via the Microsoft A5 license. Microsoft Power BI Premium provides additional capabilities beyond Power BI Pro at a cost of $55.13/year per user.
· Power Automate per user plan for Faculty is $8.30/month or $99.60/year.
· Power Apps Premium for Faculty is $11/month or $132/annually
