Change Enablement: How to Update Incomplete Change Request

Overview

Audience: Technicians on TeamDynamix

After a Change Request has been approved and scheduled, the Technician is assigned the workflow task “Deploy the approved Change.” These directions are for when a change was not completed during the scheduled window.

Before you start

  • You should have any change notes ready for documentation

Step 1: Access the Ticket Task

Log in to TeamDynamix and open your assigned Change Request ticket. 

You may access it from:

  • Your TeamDynamix ticket dashboard or Ticket application
  • The Change Calendar at change.uark.edu and select View My Change Tickets button. Select the ticket ID number to open the ticket details.
  • Your email notification for the assigned task and select the link with the title of the ticket (see screenshot)

Step 2: Update the Task

If opened from TeamDynamix Ticket application or the Change Calendar, the ticket details will open. 

  1. View Current Activities section
  2. Select Update

  3. Then continue with the below directions for opening from email notification:

If opened from the email notification, t​​​​​he Ticket task will open. 

  1. Mark the progress of the change by selecting a percentage from the drop down list on New % Complete
  2. Leave a Comment if necessary
  3. Select Save

What's next

The ticket will automated workflow will not progress and any comments will be reviewed as necessary.
