Connecting devices to the UARK Housing IoT wireless network

UARK Housing IoT is the university’s special-use wireless network for devices that cannot otherwise connect to UARK Wi-Fi.

To see which devices require registration, see University Housing’s ResNet page. This site also has instructions for setting up devices. ResNet support is also available.

Register a Device

Registration is limited to 10 devices per user. If you have met the limit for adding devices, please create a ticket.

  1. Go to:
    UARK Registered
If you are off campus, you must be connected by VPN to access the site.
  2. Log in with your UARK username and password.
  3. Click Create New Device to register a new device. You will be required to provide your device's MAC address.

UARK Housing IoT Network Addresses

UARK Registered devices will be assigned the following addresses depending on how the device is profiled by the authentication system.

Due to gaming restrictions when using strict Network Address Translation (NAT), gaming consoles are provided publicly routed IP addresses. The public gaming networks include very restrictive firewall policies.

If your device is not getting the network address or functionality that is expected, please create a ticket
