Overview

Role Guides are one page overviews that bring together key skills, courses, and resources to help students, staff, recruiters, and managers explore career paths, understand role requirements, and identify learning to support professional growth. They provide a clear, data driven view of in-demand skills and learning opportunities for specific roles that are based on LinkedIn Learning’s Economic Graph. There are 39 roles created by LinkedIn to explore across three categories: business, technology, and creative.

Key Features

Role Guides are curated collections within LinkedIn Learning’s Career Hub that include:

  • A role summary
  • Top skills to develop
  • Understand the basics for this role with short videos
  • Build skills for this role
  • Create a learning plan
  • Where you could go next if you were in this role
Tip: You do not have to change your learning plan when exploring Role Guides unless you want to. You can use this feature exclusively for research and reflection on career goals.
