Scheduled maintenance is performed on the following systems as needed within these published time frames.

Campus Network
Sunday, 12:30 a.m. to noon
Services potentially affected or interrupted by campus network maintenance include campus internet access, Wi-Fi, VPN, the university web presence, all online services, departmental networks, Data Center equipment and other services normally accessed through the campus network.
Blackboard Learn
Thursday and Friday, 1 to 5 a.m.
Routine Blackboard Learn maintenance is scheduled as-need on Thursday or Friday from 1 to 5 a.m. Major upgrades are normally scheduled up to two times per year when impact is minimal to users.
UAConnect
Saturdays, 2 a.m. to noon
Sundays, 2 a.m. to noon
UAConnect is unavailable for regular maintenance from 2 a.m. to noon every Saturday and Sunday.
Workday
Saturdays, 1 to 5 a.m.
Workday is unavailable during weekly, monthly and quarterly maintenance. Weekly maintenance occurs every Saturday from 1 to 5 a.m. Visit the Workday Maintenance Downtime page for more information (login required)
Windows Servers
Saturday, 12:30 a.m. to noon
Significant upgrades to Windows servers managed by IT Services are scheduled for minimal impact on the users of a particular system. Routine maintenance typically includes OS and application patches, driver updates, and firmware updates.
Open Systems
Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon
Open Systems maintenance can potentially affect or interrupt a variety of services, including UAConnect, Blackboard, Java production, web hosting, UARK WordPress, Listserv, Sophos, RazorGrant, RazorVault, Echo360, LDAP, SAS, Data Warehouse, UC4, Isofax, Foglight, Netbackup, Oracle database and MySQL database.
