Overview
LinkedIn Learning is an online learning platform available to all University faculty, staff, and students for free using your @uark.edu account. It offers video-based courses on topics such as software, leadership, communication, project management, and more. You can browse the course library, search for specific skills, follow guided learning paths, and receive personalized course suggestions through AI Coaching. Courses can be completed on desktop or mobile, and certificates of completion can be shared on LinkedIn profiles and used for annual evaluations or personal development planning.
Using the Platform
- Browse the Library: Explore courses by category (e.g., Business, Technology, Creative) or skill level.
- Search for Courses: Use the top search bar to find specific skills, software, or roles and filter results by format or duration.
- Start a Learning Path: Follow curated sets of courses designed to build knowledge around a role or topic, such as “Become a Data Analyst.”
- Use AI Coaching: If linked with your LinkedIn profile, receive tailored course recommendations based on your skills and goals.
- Mobile Access: Use the LinkedIn Learning app to stream or download content on your mobile device.
- Earn and Share Certificates: Receive certificates upon course completion, which can be added to your LinkedIn profile or submitted for your annual performance evaluation.

Access
You can access LinkedIn Learning from a web browser or mobile device. Be sure to log in using your @uark.edu email address.
Web Application (Desktop)
- Visit myapps.microsoft.com.
- Sign in using your @uark.edu credentials.
- Select the LinkedIn logo.
- You will be redirected to learning.linkedin.com. If not automatically signed in, log in again using your @uark.edu account.
- Start using the learning platform.
Mobile App
Download LinkedIn Learning from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Log in with your @uark.edu account.
