Reportable IT Projects: How to access the Reportable IT Project Intake form

Audience: IT Department who need to report their projects

Reportable IT Projects give IT staff a consistent way to document and manage meaningful work that falls outside routine tickets, tasks, and formal IT PMO projects. Accurate reporting improves visibility into work across central and federated IT teams, helps staff identify opportunities to coordinate resources and avoid duplicate efforts, and gives leadership better information for planning and decision-making. 

IT staff will be required to create and maintain a Reportable IT Project in TeamDynamix so their team’s work, progress, and contributions are represented accurately. The directions below explain how to access the intake form, which is separate from creating a full project directly in TeamDynamix.

Before you start

• It is not necessary to have Technician or Project Managers security roles on TeamDynamix to submit a Reportable IT Project form. But it is necessary to update and manage the project on the TDWorkManagement platform. 
• It is necessary for anyone who is designated as the Project Manager to have Project Manager security role on TeamDynamix.

Steps to Access the Form

1. Visit projects.uark.edu.
2. Sign in and authenticate, if necessary. 
3. Once logged in, complete the form and select Create Project. Note: If you need assistance in completing this form, please read the article, How to Complete the IT Reportable Project Form for a detailed explanation of each form field. 

What's next

After submitting the form, a TeamDynamix project will automatically be created. Log into the TeamDynamix WorkManagement platform in the Projects application to update and manage your project(s). More information can be found in the article, How to update and manage Reportable IT Projects.
