How to Edit a Registration in Ideal Logic 

Audience: Program Administrators 
Responsible Group: IT Training and Outreach 

Overview 

Program Administrators can edit a participant’s registration if information needs to be updated after submission. 

Common reasons for editing include correcting contact information, changing selections, or updating participant details. 

Before You Start 

  • Participant name  

  • Access to the Ideal Logic administrator dashboard  

Steps 

1. Sign in to the Ideal Logic administrator portal.  

2. Select People from the top navigation menu.  

3. Search for the participant using the search field.  

4. Select the participant’s name to open their record.  

5. Locate the participant’s Registration Record.  

6. Select Edit Registration.  

7. Update the necessary fields in the form.  

8. Review all changes for accuracy.  

9. Select Save Changes.  

Tip: Use the People search when the program contains many registrations and locating the participant through the event list is difficult. 

What’s Next 

The updated information will immediately appear in the participant’s registration record and program reports.
