When creating documentation, use the standard terms for IT services assets and functions. General university campus terms are included here.

Although "university affiliate" would technically define any employee or student at the university, the term has developed a more specific definition and should only be used in documentation to refer to individuals who are not employed by the university or enrolled as a student, but have been granted an affiliate UARK account for use during the time that they have a legitimate need to access university resources.
