PrintSmart's Web Print allows you to submit PDFs or documents from Excel, Word and PowerPoint to any Tech Spot lab printer on campus from your own device.

UARK PrintSmart Quick Steps

  1. Connect to Wi-Fi

    • Use UARK Wi-Fi (not Guest/Registered).

    • Off campus: connect through Global Protect VPN.

  2. Go to PrintSmart

    • Visit printsmart.uark.edu and log in with UARK email + password.

  3. Submit a Job

    • Click “Submit a Job” → choose one of the bottom 4 printers.

    • Duplex = double-sided; Simplex = single-sided.

    • Color printing: Union Lab or Mullins (⚠️ no duplex on color printers)

  4. Set Options & Upload

    • Enter copies → Upload Documents → drag & drop or select files → Upload & Complete.

  5. Release Your Prints

    • At a release station (located in the computer labs) log in → press “Print” or “Print All.”

    • Jobs auto-cancel after 2–3 hours.

Tech Spot computer labs are located across campus and offer printing, charging stations and access to a wide range of software like Microsoft Office, SPSS, SAS and more.
For faculty and staff who are off campus, virtual private network (VPN) is essential for accessing on-campus remote desktops, servers, and other resources. VPN is like a tunnel that allows UARK users to access university resources securely, while prohibiting unauthorized incoming traffic. VPN may be required to access certain systems, services or applications, even when the user is on campus.
Each semester, a student can print up to the equivalent of 350 single-sided black toner pages (a value of $35) without charge.
The Student Technology Center provides access to a Xerox printer for special printing jobs.
