Overview
Audience: Project Managers for Reportable IT Projects
After submitting a reportable IT Project intake form, all updates can be managed by the Project Manager on the TDWorkManagement portal on the Projects application.
IMPORTANT: A new form does not need to be submitted to correct a previously submitted form. This will create a second project for the same work.
Before you start
IMPORTANT: Only TeamDynamix Technicians with the security role of Project Manager are able to make project updates. To get access, please submit a request to the TeamDynamix Administrators, using the TDX Admins Service Form.
The first time an update is completed Services Affected field (Open Project > General > Services Affected) will need to be updated or the updates will not be saved.
Steps
- Log on to TDWorkManagement
- Select View Applications
- Select Projects
- From the left-hand menu, select the new project that needs updating.
- Proceed to update the project as necessary. If you need help with updating a Reportable IT Project, please review the article How to update and manage Reportable IT Projects for more details.
- After all changes are made, select Save.
What's next
Once updated, the project will reflect the latest status and progress updates. Anyone with access (Resources) to the project can view these updates. Comments entered during the update are stored in the project's Feed for tracking and audit purposes. Additionally, all updates are automatically included in any Reportable IT Project reports generated after the changes are saved.
