The Google AI for Education Accelerator Program provides students, faculty, and staff with free access to professional training developed by Google and delivered through the Coursera learning platform. Content focuses on artificial intelligence and career-focused technology skills. As part of the University's participation in the Google's AI for Education Accelerator, eligible participants can develop practical technology skill through self-paced online learning. Available learning paths include:
- AI Essentials
- Data Analtytics
- Cybersecurity
- Project Management
- UX Design
- Digital Marketing & E-commerce
- IT Support
- and more programs
Training is free, however, participation requires a license approved by the Provost's Office. Licenses are limited and are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis for a fixed period of time.
NOTE: The Google Learning Program license provides access only to Google's training content on Coursera, not the full Coursera catalog.

Access
To participate in the Google AI for Education Accelerator Program:
- Complete the Microsoft form, Google Accelerator Program Request.
- Wait for approval from the Provost's Office.
- If a license is available and approved, you will receive an email to your UARK account from Coursera with the subject, "You're invited to join Coursera!". Please note, sometimes these emails are sent to Junk folder or Promotions folder.
