Audience: Students, Faculty, Staff
LinkedIn Learning Hands-On Practice allows learner to develop technical skills through interactive coding challenges, cybersecurity exercises, and other practical activities. Learners can practice skills directly within LinkedIn Learning, receive immediate feedback, and build confidence applying new knowledge in real-world scenarios. Hands-On Practice content can also be assigned or recommended as part of professional development and learning campaigns.

- Actively apply technical skills while learning
- Currently focuses on technical skill development (programming and coding languages, cybersecurity skills, and technical problem solving)
- Provides Code Challenges where learners can test their knowledge and skill
- Real-time feedback of code, solution, results, and correct mistakes
- Can be shared similar to other LinkedIn Learning content
Access
You can access Hands-On Tech from a web browser, desktop application, or mobile device. Be sure to log in using your @uark.edu email address.
Web App (Desktop)
- Visit myapps.microsoft.com.
- Sign in using your @uark.edu credentials.
- Select the LinkedIn Learning logo. Note: The My Apps dashboard is customizable and may not be listed alphabetically.
- From the left-navigation menu, select Hand-On Tech. This will take you to the coding practice course list.
- Select a course to start and start learning.
